Aviation Programs / Bachelor of Science to Master of Science in Aviation and Transportation / Fast Track Program
The Bachelor’s to Master’s in Aviation and Transportation program option allows qualified undergraduates from any major at Lewis to complete the graduate Master of Science in Aviation and Transportation (MSAT) program in just one additional year.
Upon completion of at least 75 credit hours and achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, a student becomes eligible to apply for a Bachelor’s to Master’s program option by completing the application.
Once accepted, the student may take up to 15 graduate hours to satisfy specific course requirements in the Master’s program and potentially replace equivalent courses in the Bachelor’s program.
Students must earn a “B” or better in each graduate course they take toward their MSAT requirements. A student who successfully completes 15 graduate hours as an undergraduate will have remaining 21 credit hours versus 36 credit hours required to complete the MSAT degree.
Note that admission to the Bachelor’s to Master’s program is not an automatic admission to the Master of Science in Aviation and Transportation program. A student will still need to apply and be accepted to the MSAT program provisionally, contingent on completing the baccalaureate degree.
