Minor Requirements
The minor in Actuarial Science will allow students to obtain a deeper understanding of mathematics in combination with statistics and business management in preparation for a career as an actuary or in a related field. The courses will focus on the quantification and management of risk that improve decision-making under uncertainty. Students will cultivate their analytical and problem-solving skills, business skills, communication skills, and computer skills while also preparing to pass the first two actuarial exams.
