Full-Time Undergraduate Costs

Testing Fees

Students who wish to make use of special testing programs available through the University pay the fees charged by the testing agency or by the official examiners, as well as a posting fee. The College Level Examination Program (C.L.E.P.), various proficiency examinations, and Prior Learning Assessment are administered by the School of Graduate, Professional, and Continuing Education.

Room and Board

Room rental varies according to the residence hall and the number of students in a room. New students are assigned rooms based on availability and order of receipt of application. Current students participate in a room re-application process during the spring semester of each academic year.

The University provides dining hall meals for resident students, all of whom are required to select a meal plan that best suits their needs.

Tuition Refund Policy

The following policies refer to all registered courses (classroom-based, online, blended, practicum, research, clinical, student teaching, field experience, and independent study). Definition of a week: A week begins at 12:00 am, Monday, CST; ends at 11:59 pm, Sunday, CST .

Common Deadlines for Courses

Drop by the first business day of week three, 100% refund, course does not appear on the transcript.

Withdraw by the first business day after 75% of the course, no refund, “W” grade placed on transcript.

Sixteen Week Courses (or Summer Fourteen Week)

Drop by the first business day of week three, 100% refund, course does not appear on the transcript.

Withdraw by the first business day of week thirteen, no refund, “W” grade placed on transcript.

Eight Week Courses

Drop by the first business day of week three, 100% refund, course does not appear on the transcript.

Withdraw by the first business day of week seven, no refund, “W” grade placed on transcript.

Weekend Workshops

Students should self-drop weekend workshops through the Office of the Registrar before close of business on the start date or Friday before the start date (for weekend workshop beginning on Saturday or Sunday).  Weekend workshops that are not part of a student’s block tuition can be refunded 100% provided these conditions are met. Weekend workshops that are part of a student’s block tuition rate receive no refund.
